I had originally planned to stop at D’Angelo’s right across the way for an afternoon coffee, but even though their hours said they were open, the doors were locked. Luckily, Vero was open and welcoming—and it turned out to be such a great find! What drew me in first was their frozen coffee. After living abroad in Europe for the past few years (and relocating from the U.S.), I’ve found iced coffee in just about any form to be rare and often inaccessible I usually end up making my own at home, so having a refreshing frozen coffee here was such a treat! It was the perfect pick-me-up after a hot day in Rome Beyond the coffee, I loved the clean, earthy, and health-focused aesthetic The café has so many options for different dietary needs, and a quick fridge stocked with fresh, ready-to-go items like salads, bowls, and sandwiches. Pair that with their coffee bar, pastries, and a hot breakfast menu, and there’s truly something for everyone I liked it so much I went back the next morning for a bite to eat and a cappuccino, and it was just as enjoyable ‼ Friendly service, good coffee, not too pricey, and a cozy vibe—it’s the kind of spot that feels like a lucky little discovery when traveling. “ A great place to have your breakfast or brunch. The staff were my first impression to roman people and they were really nice and helpful. I had a lemon cream croissant and a black tea. Both of them were tasty and I did not get disappointed with my items. If I ever be in that area again, I’ll consider trying the other items for sure ”
